new badies!

I have just added another 3 Bad Bears to the shop! This one, Rob the Bear-gler, is my favourite. See also Scrappy, who has been in a fight, and Stan (& deliver), the Highwayman. I'm loving the corny names, courtesy of my husband.

featured on Cuteable!

Well, its a little bit late, but just thought I'd mention that my three little bunnies have been featured on one of my fave blogs Cutable!

Thank you Sion for their 15 minutes of fame.

at last

Finally three little Bad Bears have finally made it onto the Plum Pudding shop! I am really happy with the way they have turned out and am looking forward to seeing what response they receive. There will be 10 all together so more to come in a few days time . . .

On another note, I have finally left the security, and monotony, of full-time work (jump up and down and shout whoo hoo!) and am now working with my lovely husband, at home, on our graphic design business! We are called fusion design and if you are interested in having a look here's our website. Emphasis is on marketing/networking at the moment to get more clients.

It's great to look out the studio window and check out the birds helping themselves to the peanuts in the bird feeder, or go for a little walk around the village at lunch time. I will miss the action and shopping of working in the city, but have really had enough of all that for the time being and I'm sure I will appreciate going into town occassionally with a purpose in mind!

day trippin

On a recent day out in Cambridge, I took this photo of a random carved flagstone in the pavement. Interesting huh? It just shows that those people who walk around staring at their toes see interesting things too.

de-stressed from head to toe

This week has been a fun one. The highlight was a trip to a beauty spa with an equally stressed-out friend. We had such a relaxing day, and I now have a pedicure to look at and remind me of my lovely time.

On a creative note, I have added two more little Badies to the collection, soon to be launched in my shop. I like to think they would make great buddies to a rambunctious little boy (or girl for that matter), who has a bit of a naughty side!

Grrrrrrr!

village scene 3

This little fellow decided that our hedge would make a good place to visit the other day. We have been visited regularly by this duck, and his missus, until recently.
I think they must have found a better place to raise the kids . . .

love nest

Back from a lovely week away, catching up with family in Hereford. The weather was fantastic, food exceptional and accommodation lovely – a perfect little love nest.

Now I am back in the real world, working part-time in one job, and trying to get clients in for our business. It doesn't leave a lot of time for creativity! Never-the-less, I do have a sewing project in progress, heres a sneak preview. . .

The range is to be called Bad Bears. This little chap is a pirate bear, he is just missing his bandanna. The range will comprise (maybe) 10 bears, all different, all with attitude (but quite soft really) & all made from the biggest pair of brown corduroys I've seen in my life!
